Local Ubud driver-guides · Ubud
A private driver-guide takes you to the Monkey Forest, Tegallalang, Happy Swing Bali, Tirta Empul and Tegenungan, with a sarong for the temple and help with photos. Pick it if you want the swing day on a tight budget, or if you like to choose exactly which tickets you prepay.

Four options share this listing, and the $27 headline belongs to the barest one, Ubud Tour - No Ticket & Lunch. That buys the car, the guide, water, a sarong and photo help, and nothing at the gates. Ubud Tour with Entrance Ticket adds the tickets. All-Inclusive Ubud Tour adds tickets, lunch and Happy Swing Bali, and All Inclusive - No Swing keeps the tickets and lunch but drops the swing. $27 is also the rate for the largest group tier, so a couple on the cheapest option already pays more each, and every step up costs more again.
On the cheap option the gates add up fast: IDR 130,000 at the Monkey Forest, IDR 75,000 at Tirta Empul, IDR 30,000 at Tegenungan and IDR 15,000 to 20,000 at the Tegallalang booths. That's about IDR 250,000, or $15, per adult in cash, before lunch at Boni Bali and before the swing, and swing packages around Tegallalang run about IDR 250,000 to 400,000. If you want the swing at all, All-Inclusive is the option to price first.
Two corrections. The itinerary says that at Tegenungan you can "even take a swim" and tells you to bring swimwear. Bring it. But swimming there is allowed only in the marked part of the pool when staff open it, and it's often closed after rain and from November to March. A guest adds that the waterfall "is too large to go under", which is right: nobody swims under it. The route also bends to your hotel. One guest's day began at the Sangeh Monkey Forest, twenty minutes from pickup, not at the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud. If the Ubud forest matters to you, say so when you book.
Up to 90 minutes with the macaques. The gate is IDR 130,000 per adult unless your option covers it.
A walk through the terraces, with small booth and farmer fees on the paths.
Included on the two All-Inclusive options. Otherwise, pay as you eat.
The swing park. Access comes with All-Inclusive; on the other options it's your call and your money.
The spring temple, sarong provided. Bathing in the spring pools is up to you.
The last stop: the steps down, the pool, and a wade only if staff allow it.
★★★★★DK was super informative and very familiar with the area. The activities were spaced out thoughtfully, all close together. [...] Lunch was at a great spot not too far away, and the temple and waterfall experiences were everything I wanted. DK gave me options for less crowded stops, and I took those.
★★★★★Your itinerary will likely be influenced by where your hotel is - I suggest messaging the operator in advance (they responded to me within a few hours of inquiring) with your questions or preferences. [...] The waterfall at the end of the day is a fun site to see…note it’s too large to go under.
★★★★★He made sure we were taken care of everywhere we went for the all inclusive package. [...] This was worth every penny we spent and then some!
★★★★★The day’s activities were easy to get to and well coordinated. We started early and there were little to no lines to do the activities.

The car, an English-speaking driver-guide, hotel pickup, water, a sarong and photo help. It is the "Ubud Tour - No Ticket & Lunch" option at the largest-group rate, so no entrance fees and no lunch. Expect about IDR 250,000 per adult at the gates.
Three of the four: Ubud Tour with Entrance Ticket, All-Inclusive Ubud Tour (which adds lunch and Happy Swing) and All Inclusive - No Swing (lunch, no swing). Only the $27 option leaves the gates to you.
Maybe. The listing says you can "even take a swim", but staff open the marked swimming area only when the current is calm, and it's often closed after rain and from November to March. Nobody swims under the falls.
That is the listed stop. One guest's tour started at the Sangeh Monkey Forest instead, near their hotel, so confirm with the operator if you want the one in Ubud.
